Psychotherapist/Counsellor
About me
I became a therapist after a business career which included leadership roles in a multi-national corporation. I therefore have a deep understanding of work-related stress, particularly in complex corporate environments.

I trained and qualified at The Minster Centre, the first Integrative Training centre in the UK and the leading Integrative Psychotherapy training body in Europe. I have worked for a major provider of counselling services in South London and a bereavement charity in West London. I have experience of working with a range of problems including anxiety, depression, addiction (including 12-step work), bereavement, eating disorders, problems with intimacy and low self-esteem.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy.

I carry comprehensive insurance with Axa Insurance plc
My approach
You are unique and one size rarely fits all. My training as an Integrative therapist enables me to utilise a wide range of theories and techniques to provide support which is tailored to your very specific needs.

I will provide an opportunity to give voice to thoughts and feelings which would be difficult to discuss with even your closest family and friends. My aim is to be empathic and supportive. I will never judge or criticise.
Practicalities
If we decide to work together I will require you to sign a brief Agreement which sets out basic understandings and protocols for your therapy.

I will also require you to complete a Personal Information Sheet.

The material you disclose to me in these documents and during our sessions together will be held in confidence, with the exception of specific circumstances set out in the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions by which I am bound. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2018) I am registered with the Information Commissioner as a Data Controller. My registration number is ZA804969.

My standard fee is £60 per 50 minute session. Payment is by bank transfer only and must be made prior to or on the day of your sessions. I reserve the right to adjust my fees from time-to-time.

I also offer a reduced rate of £55 if you pay for four sessions in advance.
